Snap-On Smile is a prescription-only, removable dental arch that is designed to cover an array of smile imperfections, such as:

  • Stains and discoloration
  • Chips
  • Minor gaps
  • Misaligned teeth
  • Misshapen teeth
  • Worn down dental work

Created by capturing impressions of your smile, the prosthetic is customized to fit snugly over your teeth to create a more uniform, aesthetically pleasing appearance. It is non-invasive and requires no preparation of your natural teeth.

Before you can receive a Snap-On Smile, you must first schedule a consultation with your cosmetic dentist. It is during this visit that Dr. Petulla will determine if you are a qualified candidate for treatment. Since this prosthetic can be created to cover only a few teeth or the entire arch, we will need to capture impressions of your teeth as well as a bite registration. Once photos are then taken of your smile, we will fill in the appropriate information to complete the prescription form needed to produce this type of prosthetic.

Once all images and information are sent to the dental lab, technicians will need 1-2 weeks to create your Snap-On Smile and send it back to our office. You’ll then return for a follow-up appointment where we will have you insert your Snap-On Smile before making any necessary adjustments.

When it comes to choosing Snap-On Smile, you will find it is an ideal alternative to full-mouth reconstruction, veneers, dentures, or dental implants. Many patients choose this method of treatment because of the many great benefits, some of which include:

  • No tooth preparation, so your natural teeth remain untouched
  • No anesthetic or drilling necessary, since this is a non-invasive treatment
  • A more affordable treatment option as opposed to customized veneers, dental implants, dentures, and other restorations and prosthetics
  • Only two dental appointments needed to create your Snap-On Smile
  • Can be used as a short-term or long-term cosmetic solution
  • The ability to eat normally and experience little to no speech impediment
  • No dental adhesive necessary since the device snaps into place over the visible portion of your smile (the crowns)

No two patients are alike, so until you schedule a consultation to see us for treatment, we cannot determine how much the cost of your Snap-On Smile will be. Dr. Petulla must examine your smile in its entirety and consider various factors before establishing a cost estimate for treatment. Although it is much more affordable than a complete full-mouth reconstruction, we will need to determine if:

  • You require a device for just the upper or lower row of teeth or both
  • You need a full arch or only a partial
  • You require additional cosmetic treatments

Because Snap-On Smile is a cosmetic solution, it is unlikely that your dental insurance company will pay for treatment. However, it may be possible to enroll in flexible financing with Lending Club to allow for greater affordability. Offering low and no interest payment plans, you can better budget for your new smile.
